For the first time in a long time a funny and engaging family film.

Me and the mrs laughed, so did the kids although my younger one his eyes when Nicole was going to cut into the poor little fella.

On the subject of Nicole, ummmmmm.

Saw it tonight - brilliant!!

The escalator scene had me crying with laughter! biggrin

They really captured the essence of Paddington perfectly too.

Agreed, I thought it was just a wonderful family film.

It was a first cinema outing for our two and they loved every minute.

I enjoyed the film althugh it coul dhave done with more of Paddingstoin in it near the end.

I woud say its not suitable for young kids, the 12 certificate is appropriate

It's PG.

Our 3 1/2 year olds loved it (bizarrely the only bit my little girl freaked out to was the bath scene!).

Ok, could have sworn it was a 12.

I moaned about this film..... how can you improve on perfection.....they should leave well alone.....etc. etc.

Well, when I'm wrong I'm always prepared to admit it.

I went to watch Paddington with wifey yesterday and....... it's brilliant. Enjoyed every minute of it. A great kids films, but plenty of adult humour to keep grumps like me amused as well. The "I've bought you flowers" scene had me in stitches.

To anyone who has not been to seen it, or thinks it will be rubbish.... give it a go.... you wont be disappointed.

No, it's fine for 3 year olds. However, it may border on too long a film for a 3 year old at 90 minutes or so. There are also the trailers to sit through, thus nearly 2 hours of hoping a 3 year old sit quietly.

I learnt the hard way...

There's some clever bits only adults would understand, excellent film.
Indeed. I went yesterday morning with my sister in law, her 7 year old autistic son, and my wife.

I loved it. At one point I cried.

on the way out, the little lad says "Mr Brown isn't as grumpy as Daddy"

At this point my wife nearly pissed herself.

When we went and there were loads of adults on their own, mostly middle-aged men. No-one will notice in the dark!

Is it popular amongst peodos to sit in large dark rooms staring at the backs of childrens heads then? Seems a very odd way for them to get their jollys... confused

I went to see Paddington with my younger brothers at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The film clearly has a great combination of amusing lines plus visual gags to ensure everyone regardless of age was laughing. The CGI really is remarkable, the bathroom scene when Paddington is blow dried was quite a demonstration of how CGI has improved somewhat.

Loved it, not sure if it's a UKIP party political broadcast or anti UKIP propaganda though
You're kidding, Nigel Farrage would hate it!
It was fascinating how explicitly they were making statements about how we should be welcoming arrivals (including illegal ones) into the UK. It's an overtly political film.

Loved it btw, it's great fun.
