So the cast list has been confirmed...looks pretty strong.

Looking forward to seeing what they do with this.

Will Smith being Deadshot is a bit annoying.

Apart from that, doesn't seem too bad. Oprah Winfrey as Amander Waller would be good, hopefully it will be fat Oprah that turns up!

David Ayre a good director, will bring something new.

For those not familiar with the characters,

this is a really good intro to them (also a thoroughly enjoyable film)

The casting they have done for some of the characters in Arrow and The Flash work well it's a shame they can't work with them for this.

hmm, I watch flash every week and still cant get to grips with Grant Gustin.
He feels/looks and acts too awkward to be the flash.

Could be worse, we could get a black guy cast in the role of Johny Storm in the new fantastic four film, with a white Susan Storm as his sister...

That would be really stupid if they ever did that....

oh hold on.

Sorry edited to say, I agree with you, the rest of the casting in Flash is pretty good. I dont watch Arrow so couldn't comment

He is improving, but I think they have done some of this awkwardness on purpose, it's part of him as a character "finding himself"

I would encourage you to give Arrow a go the Suicide squad and Amanda Waller have been cast pretty well along with Atom man etc, well worth a watch on Netflix or whatever...

OT I know sorry...

Geeks, I watch the Flash with my 6 year old daughter, she absolutely loves it. In fact its her fave TV program.

Arrow is alot darker right?

I've also heard the first few episodes/season isn't all that. Is it a case of sticking with it or is it actually pretty good from the off?

Arrow is a fair bit darker yes, I would pre-watch it to see if you are happy with a 6 year old watching it, I dont have kids so can't help there! It does get less Dark after season 1 though if that helps, they are also going to start crossing over so that is good enough motivation to watch it right there smile First few Eps are a bit back and forth (not bad but scene setting and a bit slow) but it gets alot better after this and by the end of season 1 you will be hooked smile

Yeah I know, but I haven't seen a really great film in ages, I know I wouldn't enjoy anything with comic book heroes in it, so it feels like Hollywood has wasted an opportunity (and budget) to please me personally. wink

Yep. A lot isn't working for me, Joker looks like a cross between Marilyn Manson and Keith Flint, if all those characters are meant to get a decent part in the film, its going to be 10 hours long. There's too much going on.

Funny enough I think Harley and Deadshot look the best out of the group. The Deadshot face mask is spot on.

As for Harley's outfit... It's been pretty much confirmed she has a lot of different outfits in this movie, very much doubt that she will be in the comic book black and red jumpsuit, but I'm sure the colours will feature.

Do love the set picture with her scribbled on baseball bat, she looks suitably nuts.

Gutted - I was hoping this would be about the Suicide Squad that used to race bangers at Arena Essex!!

That would make a proper PH film (hide your Granadas)!
