I'm having issues with Sky HD in that from about 6:20pm today the HD channels are all a blur of green you can just make out the picture and the sound is fine.

Been on hold with Sky now for 20 mins and counting

Anyone else getting this issue?/know that I should do to fix it? Wife's pissed off as Strictly is being missed and cannot be recorded in HD/has the same issue.

Talking to them and have gone into the service menu then the spanner then select then 01 select.
Next its sky+ rebuild takes a few mins.

Am awaiting the reboot

Fingers crossed.

Added the above so for the benefit of others with this issue in the future smile

Hope that sorts it. Usually a power off, power on sorts out most things, after all basically it's a computer.

That would really be an issue - the kids favourite film and shows all gone (well the ones which we can use to keep them quiet )

Yup, it is. Especially when you lose 10 hours of stuff you've not seen yet and a whole season of GOT !

Had this a few times.
Whats worked for me was rebooting the box, when you first unplug or switch off at the mains before you do anything else remove the viewing card and where the little gold "chip' is turn the card over and see if there is a small brown burn mark. If there is and the card is warm let it cool down and wipe it over, even with a dry cloth and replace. Carry on with the reboot.
Might not be your problem but its solved mine every time.

Call sky, go through their tech support motions and if it needs a call out start at £65 and negotiate down using charm
