Just seen the Aston series finale on BBC 3 from years ago. Utterly awesome.
Thankfully he was wrong as each new car that comes out just seems to get faster than the last. threadlock said:

Whose the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car?
I want to look them up now so I don't look stupid in this thread on Sunday.
Yeah, It's Gillian Anderson. Who's tiny, rather flippin' attractive, and swears more than Jeremy Clarkson (in a good way!).I want to look them up now so I don't look stupid in this thread on Sunday.
Bit like that John Barrowman, speaks "Scottish" and his whiny camp American. Quite odd.

I had thought the Peugeot piece was an exaggeration, but then followed this driver on the M3 this afternoon.
I haven't doctored the image other than to pixellise the numberplate. She really did have her satnav in that location.
Only ever seen drivers of French cars using that set up.I haven't doctored the image other than to pixellise the numberplate. She really did have her satnav in that location.
OK I lied about that, seen all manner of other drivers with poorly located SatNav stuff including huge fury dice. One of those "smell nice" odour tree things hanging from th6r mirror is now an MoT fail apparently ...
Anyone looking down at their in-car SatNav low down on the centre consol will have zero forward visibilty.

Good video thanks, I wouldn't mind if they extended the star in car section to show these passenger laps too. marcosgt said:
Peugeot bit was stupid and, unlike the Ambulances, just not really very funny...
Otherwise it was OK, but I started watching it at 11:30PM, so maybe I was just too tired to really enjoy it...

I've just watched it (Sat morning) on Iplayer and genuinely Lolled, a great episode, TG at its best. I find this much better than the specials which bore me tbh.
I think maybe 15yrs ago the typical Peugeot driver would have driven a Volvo....

So they go to the effort of properly filming that and don't show it. Shame as I really enjoyed that.
More on here too - http://www.topgear.com/uk/videosHaving outdrove the men Margot Robbie proves she can outdrink them too. :_

Obviously the Peugeot bit wasnt meant to be taken seriously but some of the driving traits they demonstrated rang true, albeit in an exaggerated form and not exclusive to Peugeot drivers...
...At least that's what I thought until I followed a clapped out 206 onto the M5 last night. Only one tail light working and the driver was fiddling with a sat nav which they had placed exactly mid way between the rear view mirror and the top of the steering wheel! How they hoped to see anything to their left I have no Idea. I decided to give them a wide berth!
