Amused by the graph of NOx on Oxford Street and the bus strike. Not to mention picking the government up on their end the war on the motorist pledge that was instantly forgotten as the noses hit the trough.

Making jokes whilst making a point. Too bad the haters are too busy hating TG and cars generally to get it, the point that is.
Was the bus strike on a Sunday? smile

I see what you're saying but for me the best looking Lambo of late was the original Murcielago before they started adding extra spoilers/wings etc for the revised editions.

Just looks perfect. cool
Always liked these but it doesnt half look dated now
In that particular spec, I agree, however in "Batman spec":

No it was on a Tuesday and into the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Not sure what your inference is. I think the previous Sunday was shown on that graph. Started on the 9th iirc.

So spit it out then, your point was?

Day of the strike I managed to get my 1.5 hour drive across London to work down to 45 mins.

Lovely drive.

Enjoyed it, the lambo section and SiaRPC too.

Less interested in the Russian race, there was nothing wrong with it but I guess it wasn't aimed at someone my age.

Looking forward to seeing the new Corvette and I've seen that they're planning a Top Gear UK vs Top Gear US episode too, I've been enjoying the US show a lot more recently but this mash-up could be great.

I really enjoyed last nights episode. The trailer for the rest of the series looked great and the race across St Petersburg was rather amusing. I'm not interested in SIARPC and couldn't care less about new supercars but it looked like the season should contain a decent amount of interesting stuff that isn't just endless supercar reviews. I'm really looking forward to the ambulances and cheap 4x4s.

I was asking what day the bus strike was on, to see if Clarkson was selectively using figures - ie emissions were 100 on Monday - Saturday and dropped "remarkably" on the Sunday bus strike.

Thanks for aiding my understanding smile

Good show, only piece I didn’t like was the star in the car section, normally I quite enjoy this is they have some interest in cars but he wasn’t my cup of tea.

Thumbs up for me really, I’d watch that again on dave, countless times when nothing else is on.

For two laps

You can almost have a full day's track day for that price!

It says they use the Cee'd as well, no mention of the Astra.

So, £175 to drive two laps round Dunsfold in a clapped out Kia. Bargain.

More of the same old, but I still enjoy TG. I'd rather it did still exist, than didn't - hardly a glowing review, but I think it summarises most of the non-haters' attitudes to the show.

from the website

•Your experience includes time in the race simulator, approximately 45 minutes on track, a studio tour, your time on the leader board, a video of your experience and a certificate of your track time

I wonder if Lamborghini knew that Hammond would talk negatively about the Huracan before they let TG review it. I don't understand all this talk of Lambos having to be so extravagant-looking. It's supposed to be a useable supercar. It's decently sized for daily use and is priced relatively to its rivals. Lamborghini are more than capable of making a wacky looking thing. Look at the Sesto Elemento. Gallardo-sized, batst crazy, but costs well over 7 figures. Also the Veneno. Mental thing, but again well into 7 figures. Lambo know what they are doing and what market they are in.
