It was this image (which I have stored and backed up for posterity) that first led me to the realisation that there were these creatures called women, and they made your tummy tingle in a strange way that you couldn't quite fathom when you were 8 years old. I suffered from 'Two Heathers Syndrome' for a while back in the early 80's

When I was at school I used to really enjoy the likes of Danger Mouse, Bananaman, Captain Caveman and similar. Modern kids cartoons just seem to have endless screaming characters rather than any kind of humour or story. I'm glad my son is grown up enough now so don't have to have them on.

I always thought Chocky was cool idea. It's horribly dated now but I still liked the idea.

There was also a short lived Aus' drama called The Children of the Dog Star that I thought was ace, it was based upon the Sirius Mystery, where the Dogon people in Mali claim they were once visited by aliens from a planet that orbited Sirius A. It was given some credibility as they knew about Sirius B long before it was discovered. The story doesn't hold much water but I thought it was fascinating when I was young. The Drama focussed on some teens who'd discovered one of the alien probes that crashed when they originally came to visit Earth. It was a bit naff but I thought it was interesting at the time.

Blakes 7 is supposedly undergoing a remake on Sky, but even with CGI I just can't imagine it having the traction that the original series had. Any gloss and glitz will just undermine the gritty dystopian feel of the original series. Plus, Servalan...
There's been a few news items about various attempts to restart B7, including one that started off having the support of Paul Darrow (Avon) until he got upset about something and disassociated himself.

Many many years ago I got caught with the tv on pause at the magic moment on the fall guy intro. Do not ruin things by showing pics of what she's like now.
She doesn't look too bad at all!
No, it Carol Decker from T'pau you should be afraid of.

Not adjusted for inflation so he only gets one leg and a couple of fingers.

Shoestring got promoted and moved to Waking the Dead smile

I always liked The Chinese Detective. Apart from when he was moonlighting in Shanghai for the Temple of Doom.

I was about to post that the lead actor [David Yip] was dead but I checked first...and he isn't.

Sorry Mr Yip.

Making the most of the Micro - There must be a niche market for a proper computer programme.

Old classics like World in Action, QED and the same lines Equinox.

I think it all went wrong at the end of the 1980s when TV seemed to be run by engineers and the executives took over and we got st like Changing Rooms and endless cooking crap.
