I was responding to a post asking for examples of successful reboots. It's newer than that anyway.

The Big Breakfast
Many times I was late for work during the Vaughan/Van Outen era. The chemistry between them was excellent.
Agree those two were fantastic together. Vaughan an Kelly Brook were entertaining to but for slightly different reasons as you were never sure how many of Vaughan's jokes Kelly understood.

I was on the Big Breakfast in 1996 when it was still Chris Evans and Gaby Roslyn as main presenters with Keith Chegwin as outside broadcaster. It was great fun with loads of stuff going on off camera. Even got the chance to play footy in the back garden with Danny Baker in goal an Gaby taking penalties in high heels , darts with Eric Bristow an meet the guys who did Zig & Zag.

BJ & The Bear

I loved all those 70's/80's shows; Blue Thunder, A-Team, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Streethawk, Automan, Manimal, Jason of Star Command, Dukes of Hazzard, Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999, Magnum, Dempsey & Makepeace etc. Also the likes of The Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Tales of the Unexpected. There's nothing at all like those programmes now. I don't know if they'd be suitable for modern audiences, modern crime dramas are all a bit bland and samey.

If they could make something comparable to any of those I'd be quite giddy.

Modern TV is rubbish.

Dr Who? I don't think it was a reboot.

Yes and yes!!! But why would it work? Why did BSG work? Why did the Professionals remake fail? BSG took cheese and made gritty steak. That's the way I'd wanna see a lot of old/new shows go. It also had great actors, writers and producers.

Yes! There was a sort of an update, but it wasn't up to much.

Fox. Great drama series which ended well before its time. This was a launchpad for some great actors. Id love to see it resurrected...

I loved all the 80s-90s cop shows, A team, crazy like a fox, the fall guy(Heather Thomas in a bikini), Matt Houston, the highway man, V etc but did anyone catch the reboot of Knightrider from a few years back, omg that was just utter horsest compared to the original. PLEASE PEOPLE IN HOLLYWOOD STEP AWAY FROM THE REMAKES/REBOOTS.

Many many years ago I got caught with the tv on pause at the magic moment on the fall guy intro. Do not ruin things by showing pics of what she's like now.

Was only talking about tv shows the other day. MacGyver was the favourite, Early 80s was friday night home from school put shopping away have dinner then it was tv time, price is right or play your cards right, the amazing spiderman then corrie,a little latter was Ateam or Magnum and then even later was v or cell block h or hardball, highwayman. Saturday was normally Airwolf,Ateam, Knightrider early afternoon then tea time it would be Macgyver or maybe murder she wrote. I loved the 80s...
