Could still be Marcus.

Was it Frank that bashed in the little girl's dad? That could've been Dan although wasn't the assailant in bike gear like Frank was?

The mammoth has been absent for a few episodes, but it must be about to play a part. That chap from the beginning that helped unearth it was in the end of episode trailer.

It was at the end of the previous episode, he was knelt in his living room having found his way home and then got bashed on the head by someone.

As am I.

We get to find out what is under the ice next week then, you'd assume that may go someway to explaining wtf is going on in Fortitude!

For fk's sake Henry! Seemed a bit of a filler episode besides Henry on the glacier to be honest.

At least we know what Pettigrew found now.

I like how it's coming together but I wasn't sure, was it Pettigrew who found the mammoths or the other scientist? If so why did Pettigrew die?

I thought they said it was pettigrew's finding but I could be wrong.

Looking forward to the last couple of weeks - can't believe it's been 10 weeks so far!

Don't worry, I've just watched the last episode and it ties almost everything up nicely.

The opener was a double episode which seems to have messed up the numbering.

You reckon? I reckon the few lines that the doc said about parasitical fungi gave it away. I started thinking it was micro-biotic. The 'goop' being the culprit, but then they found that egg. Which eventually turn into those horrible flies. Which...first time I would have spotted it, I'd have run out of the room and shut the door!!
This is one of the parasites/infections that the doc references. Zombie ant.

So I reckon there is an antediluvian insect that uses fauna as hosts to incubate, the cold has killed it off, kept it isolated, the digging up of the mammoth has released it and now there is some crazy Russian gonna dig up a load of mammoths!

Liking it. I had it on series link so have been catching up. Slow burners are not very popular with many folk these days it seems.
Just the finale to watch now. Then it back to Game of Thrones.
