Hmm, I have watched all of the second series and have mixed feelings. Some parts I really liked, but other parts I didn't. I wonder if the script writers were taking Reindeer Juice...

Up to episode 5 - enjoying this a lot. Still can't work out exactly what is happening but it's all scary fun.

Finished watching S2 last night - wow, what a final 2 episodes!

Equally as good as S1, and I think the standard of acting in S2 was sublime.

Superb from start to finish. yes

Have finished the 2nd season too. Slightly mixed feelings, as it gets bizarre, but it certainly grips you into, "just one more episode" mode. Now we have to wait ten weeks or so to discuss the ending.

Got 2 left - really enjoyed it so far.

Huge fan of the guy who plays Dan Anderssen- he's got that character absolutely nailed.

Agreed, but have a liking for the receptionist / assistant in the Government offices, a real grumpy old bar steward but with heart in the right place.

Nope couldn't wait so did them all this weekend, that's both seasons as I previously gave up on S1 after the first episode.

Loved it!

Slightly in love with the blonde cop/forensic type person, it's mostly her funky accent that does it for me.

Yes.....but......what the HELL is going on with the acting? The standard is just about primary school Xmas nativity play. Even old hands like Stott are hamming it for all it's worth, and some of the other characters are just cringeworthy.

Parrot me if you must, but we watched and enjoyed S1 but this is just tragic. Cringeworthy most of the time. I don't know the backgrounds of all the actors but as well as Ken, there are well-known people like Quaid, Grabol (actually she's doing ok, just!) and Tikaram who have all been around long enough to have grown out of 2nd-rate am-dram.

Seriously, it's spoiling it to the point of not bothering any more.

Per comment on the other thread Stott's accent is like a Norglaswegian version of Dick van Dyke's Mary Poppins mockery accent.

But stick with it, as above there will be times when, as someone said, it's a wtf are the cast and crew on reindeer juice, but a few have watched to the end. It does get when binge watching to a state of "ok just one more episode, then I really have will go to bed this time." Only sleeping will be difficult.hehe

I've now watched up to this weeks ep. And It's been really good, not seen any issues.
But jesus, this ep was hard to watch, very grim.

Suprised there hasn’t been more action on here.

Seen all 4 of season 3 now - I get shakotans point but I really enjoyed it. It is beautifully shot, the season belongs to Richard Dormer as Dan.

I won’t divulge too much but it’s another series not for the squeamish.

My only issue was with the final scene.

I've only seen the first ep, bulk watching just destroys the normal 'watercooler' chat of these threads. I didn't wish to know what someone thought of the final scene or whatever.

Well, there’s been zero chat on this series - only me (enjoyed it) and shakotan (didn’t enjoy it).
My one issue was that I had a question about the last scene.

Try not to get too upset Halb.
