I like it as it offered so many ways for this to go. Looking forward to tonight.

'Spoilered' the below but it's all what happened in the first ep.

Perhaps Ecclestone saw the Mountain Rescue chap at it?

Mountain Rescue guy won't say where he went as he was busy with the other chick.

Sheriff was dodgy and in the room, possibly drunk at the time.

Councillor got the (bad) news her fancy hotel might not get the go ahead.

Those guys wanted to sell the carcass to Mr Ecclestone. Didn't they mention they would try and 'fright' him?
Let's not forget that the dodgy sheriff was also right there at the beginning when Michael Gambon shot the guy in the head by accident.

Watched this last night on catch up. Have to say I enjoyed it. Not sure what the relevance of the pig was? Visually appealing with some big names, will keep on with it anyway tonight and see if it gets any more interesting.

Also the woman that the helicopter pilot was shagging is on licence, presumably from a lengthy prison sentence.

The pig was just a research animal wasn't it?

Saw the first episode.
What a festering pile of poo. At least it reminded me how comparatively short life is.
Time to move on.

I really don't get this. It's the start of what i hope will be a very complex and multi layered series. Why not give it a chance, at least the first series?

I thought the same about breaking bad first series, but then went on to enjoy it and watch the whole series twice.

The first was terrible, but the 2nd episode was much more like it.

I'll stick with it if it stays like that.

Beginning to think that myself after watching the second episode last night. Will stick with it though, sunlit uplands and all that.

Just watched the 1st episode on YouTube. Official as well. I liked sauna girl cloud9

The setting kept my interest but it's not enough to tempt me to get Sky wink

No one else think that Gambon shot the guy on purpose at the start? He clearly has a love for polar bears and rather than shoot the bear he put the guy out of his misery?!

I'm equally confused as to why the pilot was covered in blood after smashing the hot bird!

Think it's going to turn out well this one...

It's getting 1 or 2 more episodes max.

So far it's intrigued me and pissed me off in equal measure.

I enjoyed the second episode far more. Will stick with it.

And I agree on the Gambon thing - I thought he was putting the guy out of his misery.

I thought it was quite slow and although I stuck with episode one I bailed on EP 2.

Watched episode 2 after much persuading from the other half. Both decided on scrapping it.
Utter tosh, massively over-hyped by Sky.

I watched the first episode and was a bit unimpressed, but I think I'll give it a chance as it was only the first and you've got to squeeze in all the character introductions, set up plots, etc.
I know it was long, but it FELT long, which doesn't bode well.
