Sounds like it could be a good show, I enjoy the way Quentin Wilson presents, I just hope it's not dumbed down for the mass market. Stupid competitions, 'yuf' presenters trying to appeal to a young market.

Not impressed by the calibre of the guests (had to google Gandy) but otherwise could be interesting.

As long as the stars are the cars it should be a good one!

Discussed on Chris Evans Radio 2 show this morning where QW was a guest. Sounds like the objective of the programme is right, not trying to be a new Top Gear. Although QW described classic car lovers as having body hygiene problems, so a bit of humour has crept in smile

David is a real down to earth petrol head too, chatted and met him a lot over the last year or so and he owned an Elise many years ago, was recounting one of his favourite drives was in a Caterham down to Goodwood etc.

Why do Channel 5 need Count Quentin when they can wheel out there experts Bernie and Mawio??

Fair play to C5 for what looks like it could be a better attempt at a classic car show. I think I'll Sky+ it so I can Ffwd through all the ads and the 'coming up next' bits, should whittle it down to 30 minutes.

According to Torygraph Cars it was filmed last summer and were twiddling thumbs to see who would broadcast it. I thought it would be ITV4 but good on 5 for picking it up.

Is that a thumbs up for the show or are you a Tiny Tempah fan LG? Did anyone else see it and is it worth a punt?

I had to Google Tinie Tempah to see who/what it/they was - as long as he doesn't start rapping it'll probably be OK. Though must say I have reservations on whether the car or the presenter will be the star. Hope lives eternal! biggrin

I'm in for this.

Will always give a car show a try ,as long as Bernie and Leepu aren't involved.
