Missed the first few episodes of this. The links with Quinten and Jodie are terrible, the rest of it is alright.

I'd heard of him before this series started but no idea what he's done up till then. BTW I am still enjoying MOST of this show.
Anyway, I'm off to try and find out who his uncle is. There were two Feltham Astons in his workshop. The dark blue DB2/4 and the DB2 in primer next to it on the lift. Interesting to me!

The speccy bloke is a bit st as well, I've seen him on some other car programme and he was pretty crap on that. The vehicles he did the feature on were interesting though.

Right, well the blue Aston is Nick Ruddell's now I just need to find who looks after it for him.

Noticed that when the yoof went to his Uncle's garage to see what he'd selected for him to drive at CP, the fella was polishing the Aston. Yoof asks to see the car he'll be driving. "Ah, it's through here", and goes out of the garage, opens another garage door and reveals the Midget, with the Aston behind it. smile

I'll give him some credit, he does seem to know what he's talking about, and actually have a genuine interest in the stuff he's talking about. And won't refer to a race suit as a flame proof onesie...

The short celebrity interviews were as irrelevant as ever and I'm fed up with Britt Ekland. Motorsport at the Palace is a brilliant event so I was looking forwards to it when I saw the people. It's a shame that they had to send that Best boy, who is a clueless knobhead in every sense of the phrase.

On the bright side, Alex Riley's feature was very interesting.

The faux-touchscreen "we're inside your telly" fact file bits are a bit naff too.

Stop moaning you lot, it's a good show! I really enjoyed it, and although the flameproof onesie guy knows nothing the general piece about the race was fine. Jodie is much better now, she's only snails pace rather than glacial like the first episode.

Those aluminium Jag e-types were stunning. The F type is a desirable car but I find it interesting what it is about the classics like the E-type that people still love them, whereas the F is just another sports car.
