Really liked the 928 feature. If you think the guy was being a dick for dressing up like Don Johnson its because Chase HQ was influenced by Miami Vice - black cop & white cop seemingly in Hugo Boss outfit; the artwork had the black guy bearing a canny resemblance to Tubbs

I don't get all the hate.

Ennjoyed the classic Rangie feature, great to hear how they came about, and am surprised that they are appreciating in value as much as thye are. Also though the 928 feature was excellent, Alex Riley is pretty entertaining.

Also really enjoyed the Monaco feature. Who wouldn't want to live the boyhood dream of driving a classic F1 car around Monaco? Shame it was by a odd looking American, but still great to watch someone doing something I best most of us would give a ball to do.

This is a great magazine programme, yep a bit ropey but christ it must have a £5 budget as it has virtually NO ADS so appreciate it for what it is chaps. I love the old adverts and classic stuff - love it.

I don't watch much TV, but I find the time to watch this.

Some really dodgy editing last night though.

Did anyone else notice the conversation that was ongoing in the DS with the different vehicles behind?

One second it was a Citroen C5 behind when they were talking, the camera pans out as the conversation continues, zooms in and there is a bus behind, then as the same conversation continued the C5 had reappeared.

I'll not hold it against them.

Each week the show gets better. The presenting is getting better and Jodie isn't speaking like she did the first couple of weeks.

The what £5000 classic car feature is getting better too. Thought the Chase HQ feature was good.

Channel 5 programmes are always made to a budget. This show is getting progressively better and hopefully enough people tune in to make it worthwhile continuing.

There is very few car shows on TV and too many just end up getting criticised no matter what angle on cars they take.

Anyone else find Quentin a bit "frightening" these days?? ;-)
Jeremy Clarkson asked viewers to put their hands up if they think QW looks like Count Dracula on Top Gear many moons ago.

Say this for the first time this week and thought QW looked like a cross between Ron Dennis and Nigel Farage.

I've worked it out.

Jodie has a script held up for her on idiot boards.

One....................word..............at .................a................time.

I fell asleep during this weeks but that's more my fault than the programmes.

I'm pretty disappointed in it. It's okay but it could/should be so much better.

Quentin really knows his stuff and The Car's The Star stuff he did a few years ago was very good.

Jodie Kidd is awful and annoying as are the other presenters.

As others have said, hopefully it will improve as it goes.

Possibly true but if you look hard enough into "Quest" or "Dave",there are some American shows

which are quite good too.

Thought the last programme was very good. It's a grower.

Me too, I enjoyed the RR bit (even though they pretended a Lexus was an offroader) and the Monaco bit (even though I loathe Monaco)

Jodie seems to be more natural on location, just a bit freaky in the studio.

I want a £5k 928 s4 with a manual box please chanel5 just point me at them as they all seem to be at least two or three times that much.

I think they should have said you can get a grotty pre 84 car for less than £5k which is double what they would have cost two years ago.

The programme itself is fine.
The only negatives being the 2 main presenters.Jodie Kidd is diabolical,Quentin merely irritating.I would say she is the worst presenter I have ever seen on a tv show.It wouldn't be so bad if she was actually attractive

There's not many women that can really drag their knuckles, I'm also scared she might trample Quentin without noticing.

She is (or was) a model.
By the very nature of the work they do models have to be tall, skinny and plain looking...so the designers have a blank canvas to work with.
I don't find her remotely pleasing to the eye but then again I don't find any tall skinny women attractive
