I want a £5k 928 s4 with a manual box please chanel5 just point me at them as they all seem to be at least two or three times that much.

I think they should have said you can get a grotty pre 84 car for less than £5k which is double what they would have cost two years ago.
His example started as an Auto -and then in the chase section suddenly had stick shift.

The point was you can pick up a 928 for that sort of money and if you do its likely to be a road worthy condition but not investment material (at a guess)

Not sure how much S4's really sell for at the moment, I sold my immaculate FSH 944 S4 auto in 2010 for £5k (in the end it went to an overseas buyer, after I had it advertised for ages at £6k). Manual ones are very rare and go for a bit more.

The programme itself is fine.
The only negatives being the 2 main presenters.Jodie Kidd is diabolical,Quentin merely irritating.I would say she is the worst presenter I have ever seen on a tv show.It wouldn't be so bad if she was actually attractive
^^^^. Spot on. The presentation is dire; she's just simply useless and he's creepy and smarmy. And the bit with the 'computerised' prediction of classic values is really annoying. But the content is generally good, so all in all it's worth watching.

Me too, I enjoyed the RR bit (even though they pretended a Lexus was an offroader) and the Monaco bit (even though I loathe Monaco)
They should have used the current Rangie against the classic on the off road course. That would be interesting to see.

Would have been closer although with fat road rubber on a current RR it's off road abilities are still somewhat limited.

I enjoyed it again this week, liked the piece on the Rangie and especially the 928 (yum) loved the chase HQ bit. The Monaco piece was ok just rather they followed Andy Middlehurst being a Brit etc rather than a 2bit Yank nobody who couldnt drive but that aside it was good.

The presenters seem to be getting better week on week.

Series sponsor tie-in perhaps or hoping to sell the series to the USA?

I like the Dino and am a fan of Quentin Willson's presentation. The talking heads feel a bit forced though, like they sad down and thought "we have to appeal to a wider audience" - not sure if it really works.

More car content is very welcome though.

Those early Austin Cambridges were a fair old motor with column change gears and good for 95MPH - not bad for the fifties.

How this cow is still presenting this show after 3-4 weeks is astonishing. We watched it last night and everyone commented on how terrible she was.

Perhaps she's really good at servicing the production teams members
