Quentins tips.
Buy a Honda NSX, yep right they aren't like three times the price they where a few years back.
Buy a mk2 Golf GTi, low miles, unmolested and with service history. He's at least ten years behind the curve on that one.

How this cow is still presenting this show after 3-4 weeks is astonishing. We watched it last night and everyone commented on how terrible she was.

Perhaps she's really good at servicing the production teams members
The series was filmed last year - long before anyone could slag her off. smile

They should have used the current Rangie against the classic on the off road course. That would be interesting to see.
I'd like to see that too.

Just watched yesterday's show which I recorded and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ferrari Dino in Monaco, Bruno Senna in a Healey 3000, a nice MGA in a regularity trial and Jodie's bit at Montlhéry. The Bugatti piece was both interesting and enjoyable, she came across as very natural and clearly enjoyed the experience. I don't know what people expect from 45 mins. of programming? All I can say is you're a lot of whingers and bloody hard to please.

Absolutely agree. Luckily I don't have any pre-requites for what a presenter should look like or at what speed they talk so I'm thoroughly enjoying a well made programme about classic cars.

Just caught up with the recent three shows last night, a fun show, very clunky, but in a funny but not offensive way..
Even nerd man and the nepotism kid are not that bad.

I quite like the show if you can get past the dumbing down especially with the intro about it being held in a secret underground location at Brooklands. Even TG hasn't sunk that lowsmile Btw it's hardly secret if it's announced where it is rolleyes

At least they didn't put Quentin in John Steeds bowler hat.

It would be agreeably good if they got rid of the studio bits - the poor intro with dodgy effects, the forced joshing and crappy IT/ screen bits. All the features have been far more natural and interesting.

Always good to have another car show on main stream TV!

That's no worse than fifth gears secret location... Possibly the least secret place in the world.

As a new programme on classic cars, it’s not that bad, there have been some really bad attempts, what was that one with the old Top Gear cast? Even I fall asleep watching Chasing Classic Cars, the programme seems to be stuck on repeat but with slightly different cars.

They just need to lose the cheese, the interactive screen, stop mentioning prices and investments, (it not about money, all that’s doing is killing the industry) and drop Jodie. Is me or does she really say ‘unbelievable’ about 50 times an episode.

Personally I would add Fuzz and Ant Anstead to the mix, not sure who to add for eye candy, maybe you don’t need any, look at Top Gear.

I've read that they have a feature on Jodie's Mille Miglia experience.

Interested in that as I was spectating on last years MM.

55k for the modern interpretation is strong money, but I like it.

Made a good noise.
