Hand position on the wheel? Haha, most pro drivers don't conform to those rules when larking about.
Sorry, but if you were driving at race spec XJ220 at Silverstone with the rest of those amazing cars you wouldn't lark about. She's no pro driver!I've been finding this very enjoyable and hope they renew a future series.
Regarding the presenters I'd much sooner have presenters that aren't massively polished yet have a genuine passion for cars over some slick presenter that clearly has little interest in the subject.
My only wish is that they had the chap from the auction house doing the segment on a "barn find" on every show. He appears very knowledgeable and I enjoy seeing the finds in the raw.

Yesterday's was quite good, especially Chris Routledge's bit. The David Gandy arse-kissing was a waste of time; I watch the programme for cars, not celebrities. If I want to watch celebrities on TV, I don't exactly have far to look.
Alex Riley's feature induced envy. I'm 17 and I should have a classic.

Chris Routledge's bits annoy me. No background to the particular find at all. The unicorn of cars! Ok, so what happened to the original company, who owns the car now and how did it end up in that garage (nicely polished and spruced up, covered in a sheet with some belongings neatly piled on top).
Fake and lacking anything other than him saying "wow, what a find" a lot.

He's so annoying it's probably the worst part of the show. Fake and lacking anything other than him saying "wow, what a find" a lot.

I'm starting to think that they carry a cover and some old cushions/suitcases around in the production van for this bit... so staged it hurts.MrHorsepower said:

How would you feel if it was David Gandy who owned that collection of Austins - would that still ruin your day /week /year ?Alex Riley's feature induced envy. I'm 17 and I should have a classic.
Missed the first few episodes of this series but watched the last six either on catch up or on the TV and really enjoy it. The bits in the studio are a bit cheesy admittedly but overall I think it's very good. I do wonder if Bruno Senna knows what car he is driving well before the covers come off but it is interesting to see a modern day F1 and Le Mans driver in the old cars and he comes across really well explaining how they handle and all the gear changing required.
