Ghostbusters is iconic and a classic, rare.
It is difficult to consider what other film has that same vibe, but here it is, it's like a secret from the 80s, one that hasn't been done to death and forgotten by the suits, it's also just as quotable, as evidenced by this page.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the cheque is in the mail."

t and the box offce takings won't be what they might expect them to be.
Men won't generally go and see an all-female film or just about any 'action' film where the lead/star is a woman. So 3 women is really pushing the boat out.
Yes, yes Ripley in Aliens but that film was as much about the novelty of the Aliens themselves as it was about her and anyway there will always be the exception that makes the rule.
