Living daylights is my favourite Bond film for both Actor and car. Plot wise its dated a bit but as a time capsule to look back on what the Russians and Afgans were up to its great.

Just wanted to add something to this. A friend of mine's dad was actually seriously injured (Broken leg and vertebrae) whilst filming Spectre. I'm told that he is recovering well now. Worth noting how dangerous filming can be at times. All so we can enjoy it at the cinema ect. ect.

Anyways, I am also looking forward to Spectre. Didn't get QoS at all, but didn't mind the other two smile

Indeedy. Despite its cheesiness, Octopussy saw veteran Bond stunty Martin Grace suffer severe injury whilst doubling for Roger Moore during the train sequence. Hanging off the side of a carriage, he struck a line side gantry (missed during the pre-shoot recce) smashing his legs.

In FYEO one of the stuntman in the Ski chase scene in the bob sleigh track was killed

Wiki says

.[19] In February 1981, on the final day of filming the bobsleigh chase, one of the stuntmen driving a sleigh, 23-year-old Paolo Rigon, was killed when he became trapped under the bob.[9]

I guess the bottom line is films are an industry, and people will get hurt/killed doing it, just like any other dynamic profession. Probably seems a little harsh though, bearing in mind the end product is simply entertainment.

I know everyone has thier favourite Bond but I just cant hack Dalton never watched one of his films I think he is wooden.
Roger stayed too long Bond is supposed to be about 35 years old and Sean Connery had to be really appreciated in the era he made the films.
I like Daniel Craig and all the new stuff I think it does reflect the early Bond films far more than the ones of the last 30 years.
But to be honest with the exception of Dalton despite having the box set I will still watch them on tV when ever they are on.
Oh apart from never say never again

Bit in bold from your quote not a bond film IMO as it was not an official Bond film.

Why not watch one - just to try it?

You might find you like him in this role?

One of the things we enjoy about Bond films is knowing the stunts are done for real ('in camera' I think it's called), but there are definitely risks to life and limb so that we can enjoy an action sequence that lasts only a moment. However I don't think these are guys who would be sat safely at their office desk if not for the film industry.
I don't imagine the stuntmen want to get hurt, but I also suspect they don't just do it for the money. If they weren't working in the film industry, they'd probably still be skydiving, rock climbing, or some other 'extreme' sport.
For example, I've been told that the bloke who did the bungie jump at the start of Goldeneye got paid a small fortune, but obviously he became an expert at it for the love of it. The same would apply to the skier that jumped off the cliffe with the parachute in TSWLM.
They are well paid to do what they are good at, and they are good at it because they love it.

I think he plays the part just as he did in flash Gordon. I keep on thinking someone is going to say "Bond's alive".

Remember its License to Kill this Sunday.
An odd entry to the series and one that upsets many people.
Full of inconsistencies such as a small plane being able to drag a helicopter and a heroine with short hair, not forgetting
that it's the same Felix Leiter but Bonds knocked years off himself and Felix doesn't bat an eyelid.
