I don't like it either frown It just doesn't seem to "start" it builds up and just dies off again with his falsetto nonsense.

Did you listen to it whilst strangling a cat by its bks?

Worst song for a while but least the film will make up for it

Totally agree. Just never get's going. When compared to the efforts from Chris Cornell, Adele and Jack White, it's nowhere. You'd have to say that Skyfall is probably one of the best bond themes ever written....

If you like listening to cats being strangled.......I can't stand Adele, every one of her songs with that 'faux anguish' voice goes through me like somebody pulling their finger nails down a blackboard.

So it's a load of high pitched wailing about wanting to be with someone he can't? I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!

Started off not to bad actually - then it went into a frequency that only bats can hear.........a frequency that a man should only be able to achieve with the aid of two bricks.

Anything to do with 007 is spec'd and approved to a stifling degree by the owners of the rights to James Bond.

I remember David Arnold recalling his experience on the radio and he said, or implied, that it was a nightmare.

I really liked Jack White and Alicia Keys effort...

Have just been listening to Amy Winehouse. I reckon she might have given us the greatest Bond theme of all.

I wonder if he and that blonde bird have all the time in the world?
There are a couple of references in the new theme song that suggest you might be onto something.

Well, when Spectre is released I'll be going into the cinema just as the intro has finished.

Fine... till SS starts 'singing'.

Bloody awful! (imo)

'old' Bond fan.

They should have let Dennis Waterman have a bash. He likes doing theme tunes.
'I could be so good for you' was better than this dire effort.

laugh I listened to 10 seconds on the BBC but shut it down as it was dire rubbish. Guess I'll have to suffer it when I watch the film. frown

Most would argue that it's a fairly crucial element in the formula, particularly as the theme is often referred to by the score, thus having a direct impact on the film content.
Correct, he obviously doesn't understand James Bond films. I wonder if he's seen any?
