Impressive show tonight. The woman got 20 in the final chase on her own.

Then got 8 of 9 pushbacks to push the Vixen down to 10.

She could be a chaser herself.
Just watched that myself, amazing score for single player, she did well to hold back the tears winning that much, even more so when Bradley informed her it was the highest amount ever won by a single player! eek

That was after they thought she was scared when she told the guy before her to take the £1000.

I didn't think she had the easiest of questions either.

My old ball & chain looked at me like I'd just ordered a Dacia Sandero when I correctly answered "Ho Chi Minh".

The contestant had a some good luck with the questions at the end, but knew some incredibly obscure things like weird Spanish ball games.

The beast would have put his fist through the furniture if he'd lost like that.

Saw this last night, brilliant performance. I said to my other half that someone may need to hold her up as she looked visibly shocked at what was going on

The Vixen had a bad day at the office. IMO she's the weakest of the Chasers anyway, but some of her answers last night were mystifying. Bravo to Judith.

It was an outstanding performance and as you say she was visibly shocked at what she achieved.

Exactly this.

The contestant got 19 questions right in the final chase to get a 20 score, that is an incredible performance, then to get 8 pushbacks was amazing.

And I do think Jenny is not the best chaser (and as for the nickname....).

The Vixen fell to pieces for some reason. She was missing answers that even I knew.

I have seen all the chasers do this, sometimes they just roll out every answer with maybe one or two they don't know, other times once they get a few wrong they go off tilt and mess up a lot

Yes, she had a bad day, several questions she Zigged instead of Zagged as Mark would say!

As for Jenny being the weakest, I'm not so sure ...
I've been keeping stats on The Chase - currently up to 1180+ episodes
In the current series (12) Jenny is trailing the others, but not by much, and can quickly change
In the 2 previous series, I believe she came top in both - Series 11 convincingly

She is the best on music - invariably pop now - and is the very good in most other areas
My opinion is that the right question can trip up any Chaser/Egghead

Personally, I find Sean the least convincing, in recent times he's twice failed to catch a 13 and in an earlier series 11 !
All others chasers are typically 18+ (OK Mark did lose to a 16, but that's unusual for him!)

Anyway, great performance by the contestant - I also couldn't immediately recall the name Indiana Jones ...

Sean seems to fall to pieces sometimes. Gets a couple wrong amd just gives up. Interesting stats in the previous post about Jenny - seems I was a bit off-course with my comments.

(I have applied multiple times to get on the show, to no avail. Like most of us, I suppose.)

When she first started The Vixen would often fall apart like she did losing to Judith, but since then statistically she's the best

Sean is often pants.

Judith was awesome!

I don't think I've seen The Beast lose to a single player before? I don't think he took it too well.

The nurse getting the question about the B Positive choir wrong made her look daft.

They've got to be gutted. It must have been a split second.

However I've never seen an easier set of questions ever. The Chaser got it too easy.

The last question which he answered in the split-second - what colour are the leaves on........

Well, green would have been a good guess, even before he heard the name of the vegetable..

From my semi-complete data (~1330 episodes), it's happened 4 times previously (he's yet to lose where he knocked them all out)
Yes, he takes winning seriously !
ISTR on one occasion, he really put down the single contestant saying she wasn't very good, he promptly got over-confident and messed it up and lost to her biggrin

Yeah, split-second stuff
I thought the contestants' final Q was an easy guess, 'a Mexican licquor...' , but replaying it back, they couldn't have answered fast enough

The Chaser got the scorer wrong when Aberdeen won the European Cup Winners Cup. I'm surprised they didn't edit that out.

For playing in a quiz league for 40 years she missed out on some easy questions. Especially the football ones. I'm sure as soon as you hear Man Utd manager the automatic answer is Alex Ferguson on The Chase. It's been the same answer 100 times.

Indeed, I also thought his comment about Celtic not being in a final for a while strange as you know they were in the Europa League final in Seville.

Like - "which Canadian rapper?" - it's always, but always, Drake. Must have been a question 100 times.
