Indeed, I also thought his comment about Celtic not being in a final for a while strange as you know they were in the Europa League final in Seville.
That is a while ago boxedin

I'm going to risk it and say Andrew isn't going to win it on his own.

Huge pot of £241.

Has he not fked up here?

Lose intentionally and all four come back for £1k right?

We're cracking up at his performance here

There is no point of taking the low offer if you're last one standing. If you need such a headstart to beat the chaser with multiple choice you have no chance of winning the final chase.

I think they should have arranged the team better not to leave him in that situation. I guess he can at least say he never got caught.

Everyone out does mean someone comes back and plays for £1k each.

That episode was dire. Surely it would be better if the producers canned these hopeless episodes. Yesterday wasn't great either. The quality of the contestants seems to vary quite a lot and it's becoming a novelty for all four to get back.

I think he was a bit of an attention-seeker. I'm guessing the price of his round in Wetherspoons would have been pretty low. Andrew No-Mates.

Have you got that right?
Sounds a bit fishy to me.

20 on his own is impressive. Some great answers, but a few easy ones wrong.

Very harsh to get caught like that.

Poor old Mark, he's having a bit of a mare in the current season (13), he's lost 6 games now, everyone else 3 except Jenny who's only lost 2 biggrin

I'm glad he takes it seriously though, makes it worthwhile if the contestants beat him !

As ever, always a bit of luck jumping in early on a question

I'd be really cheesed off with the women there. The most venomous spider in the UK is a daddy long legs overruling the guy with the correct answer.

If they went with the right answer they might have won depending on the next question for The Beast.

Couldn't quite believe they thought a daddy long legs was a spider eek
Quite obviously it's an insect - spiders don't typically fly ....

TBH, the ones they missed could have made the difference:
the Amazon molly - should have at least guessed fish or bird
bathtub a brand of spirit - 'moonshine' not perhaps the best guess !!
satirical mag, I think Punch closed a while ago so Private Eye was the more obvious answer
