It should be a game of chance, not manipulated by bean counters in their favour
Ok, i guess you wont be watching it again.

Oh well.
Peak PH response.

He expressed an opinion; doesn't mean he's going to throw his toys out the pram!

So now it’s a fix because the chaser lost?

The bean counters aren’t very good either then.

Q Which Duke was head of the British forces at the Battle of Waterloo?
A Duke Ellington?

So ludicrous I laughed out loud.

The wheels came off Beast's final today when he got 2 or 3 wrong near the start and then at the end ,who TF knows names of Siberian lakes ?

He might have found the correct answer too late .

I always play as the contestants on my own and got a total of 13 vs their 18 . I include their 3 point head start in both scores.

It's the sort of thing I look for at the start, but tonight nobody picked it up.

This IS the chase related ,bear with me .

Last night's Only Connect was from the dusty archives ,the 1st series champions from 2008 played the 2009 series champions , team called the Rugby boys .
On said team was a big fella ,name of Mark Labbett , he was obviously the most intelligent of the 3 but not the captain .
But somewhat appropriately ,they lost by a rugby score of 33-11 .

I didn't watch Only Connect back then 15 years ago .

Whilst I'm here.....

Yesterday's game was a good one ,took Paul to the final second to beat the 2 person team ,unlike previous Friday , when I thought the team was very weak , 2 males in the final .
I predicted that they'd be lucky to get double figure score in their final.
And I was proved correct ,with them getting just 7 correct answers for a score of 9 and Destroyer destroyed them quite quickly .

In that final chase today, Brad seemed to be reading out the questions to Shaun much slower than normal to give the team a chance.

It was odd. With only 14 on the board, he still said "you're in with a chance". Maybe because he knows Sean has a habit of cracking up.
