I have to say that the format is pretty dull these days, I watched episode one, fast forwarded through episodes 2 and 3 and deleted the others from the planner without watching them, a shame really.
Agreed. I like some bits of the episodes but most is pretty dull.

I've enjoyed all of the series so far even though it's really missing Jason Plato.

Chris Harris was great. Best guest so far.

If the next series has Chris Harris and Jason Plato it would be spot on!

Much prefer it to the 'silly' Top Gear.

Just caught up with this and thought that Chris Harris came across superbly. I particularly liked how he knew far more about the Ferrari than Tiff did despite arriving in the Porsche himself.

Somewhat typical don't we think.

4 shows that are cack.
5th one is really good. (As above Harris and Needell obviously know each other for a long time)

Next week is last in series. And given the series has been poor. Can't see History bothering again.

I guess Tiff will end up on YouTube with Chris

Sorry, did someone say chemistry between Tiff and Harris?
Maybe over a 1000 years using two inert substances.
It just highlights the impossibility the BBC have in replacing the 3 Stooges.
They make even exciting cars seem dull.

Atom 3 would have been perfect over the big bucks 3.5.

I felt episode 6 (of six) was the best of the lot (leave them wanting more...). No fast-forwarding other than the adverts.

Even the Macan Team Test had some actual consumer advice with the 'bouncy' handling.

The Exeter Trial stuff was amusing without resorting to TopGear-esque messing about. Perhaps they should provide a bit more info about how people can find out more or get involved (mention the costs?)

Track day cars - All Good Nothing Bad. Although not as memorable as when Clarkson did the comedy flapping jowls in the wind joke.

David Brown Thing - been discussed to death on here before, but the Bond themed film was interesting enough, but they were wrong about the IBM office, it was actually the one out at Bedfont that was in Tomorrow Never Dies.

That bit made me laff, as Vicky was clearly struggling to drive both of them and wasn't attacking the circuit. When he got out she didn't look to have enjoyed them at all, LOL!! Tiff / Monkey should have driven them and would have been a good couple of secs faster on the track, as well as showing how they move around on the limit smile

I wish Tiff would thump a producer. he is now a pastiche of himself and well past his "Annoy by" date. They should make him The Stig.

Pretty sure that the concept of The Stig was in some sense a dig at Tiff in the first place.

I assume it's the only channel that would pay for it. It's supposed to be repeated on ITV4 at some point this year

Tiff and Vicky were dug up by Time Team, in the last series.

Is it wrong that "meh" was the first thought that came to my mind on hearing this?

The format, not the presenter - it's old Top Gear living on when most people think it's dead.

This is saddening to read. 5th gear when they were doing their crash tests and group tests was really good. With it on History now it doesn't stand a chance- the irony..
