I love that video. I'm the same as a passenger (albeit with no where near the talent JP has) if someone's "trying" to impress me I'm forever shouting "slow down!"

TBH the show was boring. Maybe it was a bad 1st episode.

Tiff tweeted at some point last week saying that JP is too busy this year with touring car commitments. If that is the case he may be back for the next series.

8 odd years ago we hired a Daewoo Matis and wanted to go on this spectacular route - turns out the road was properly off road for 25-30miles and the signs stated 4x4. I acknowledged the sign and as it was bone dry 40degrees went for it. Yes some / many huge bangs on the underside of the car a little traction loss but the little car did the job admirably. We met a group on the exit pondering if they should go through it then they saw what we had and realised that the Nissan LS200 really was not a problem.

Why would they try to teach 2 complete novices how to drift on a corner with such little run off area? Utter madness! Whoever owned the cars was obviously not too happy and called an end to the drifting after the incident.

5th gear has been excellent, as most of times. Not as "entertaining" as Top Gear, but great none the less.
