Resurrection, Prometheus and the AvP films are terrible, all the others are brilliant films.

That scene is Alien Resurrection smile - I actually thought that was way better than 3, although parts of it were a little too cheesey.
Yeah, same. I like the way it advanced the Earth storyline. PLus the alien stuff.

I have seen Prometheus three times now and each time I like it a little more, especially if you distance yourself from the Aliens universe as we know it.

With regards Alien 3, as I have championed earlier, I think two problems of the movie, at least when you see it for the first time, are as follows;

- There are no other female characters in the movie
- Nearly all the male characters are bald which makes distinguishing between who's who difficult on first viewing.

However you really do believe that they are on Fury 161, right at the arse-end of the Company's reach and it is literally dripping (acid) with atmosphere. Just look at director David Fincher's next film (Se7en) for oppressive, suffocating atmosphere.

AvP was awesome! You don't like the two nastiest aliens fighting each other??! The follow up was crap though. And prometheus was a good start.

Late to this party but have seen most of the films.

Only comment to add is that I liked Predator 2 more than a lot seem to have! It is a brain out movie but so are the majority of these. What it does do though is it fleshes out the background a lot more. It is dated, in the way something set in the city must be 20+ years on as those tend to change a lot compared to the middle of your average garden rain forest...
