The other day I was excited about a new Blur album, and now I'm looking forward to TFI Friday returning. Must be getting old.

The only sad part about this is that I used to watch it in my flat with my mates drinking before we headed down the pub, now I'll probably Sky+ it because the wife is watching bakeoff or something and I'll be in my PJs drinking water.

I've just spent some time transferring old copies of TFI from VHS to DVD, though I'm not sure when I'll ever watch them again.

Pretty much like it was before or the same as his radio 2 show on a Friday now when he gets his guests in.

Also the one show on Fridays changes a bit with the clapping and laughing behind the cameras, TFI, Big Breakfast?

One presenter/DJ who seems stuck in the past, only does what he knows works for him, rather like Groundhog Day listening to him.

Yep. It all got a bit sweary at 6pm on C4

Quite what they expected from Shaun Ryder I'm not quite sure.

This would be a great time to bring it back permanently. With the demise of Top Gear there is a massive vacuum for such entertaining shows. An antidote to tosh like Graham Norton and Alan Carr

I liked TFI Friday when it was on, especially the early series before Chris Evans clearly went mad.

Lets see what the new one-off brings this evening. If it is a success, the rumour is that they will commission a series. Looking forward to seeing Chris Evans demand Friday off from his Radio 2 show and then massively walk out ....

Running a LaFerrari round the Top Gear test track to see if they can break the fastest production car lap record hed by the Pagani at the moment, driven by Jason Plato, so that should be interesting.

Just seen a trailer for this tonight, was looking forward to watching it then remembered I'm off out. I'll have to catch up with it after getting back in, just like back in the day.
