Yeah, because Greg fancies her.

Scallop soufflé with cat sick! Worst dish I've seen in a long time!
Exactly how I described it when she plated up. It even had the little bits of grass for the added realistic feline vomit appearance. yuck

I did like Gregs line about how "we don't seem to get any decent Australian chefs over here in the UK". It does seem to be the panto series - we've had daft tache/beard/big glasses, bowler hats, will we have someone in massive clown shoes in the next group?

John's face was a picture at that remark, only eclipsed by the tasting of the Scallop soufflé. hehe

Just a heads up, I've watched this before, OK, not great. A simlar type of show "my kitchen rules" (Australia) has a good format, which I enjoy. Easy and fast to download.

Christ on a bike ... how bad must the people have been that didn’t make it through the auditions?
Exactly! I made the same point earlier in the thread.

If this lot are in the top 50 or so, and make it onto TV, the others must've been burning fking pot noodles or something in the heats!
Agree with this also.

Most of the stuff in the Photo Of Your Dinner thread would walk all over the stuff presented so far I think.

I missed last night was it worth watching? I was just going to watch the quarters tonight.

Most of the stuff in the photos of your dinner thread are not cooked under the time constraints you get on MasterChef. I love cooking and consider myself competent but it’s something I do as a hobby for fun. Me and the missus crack open a bottle (or two) and spend three hours knocking up a main with the dogs meandering around in the kitchen, a crossword and some music on. Put me on MasterChef and give me 75 minutes to knock up the same dish and I’d be pissed and late with the food wink

I think that Laura is very very aware of the cameras, and is really playing up to them.

Highly annoying all of her little comments to herself.

Not at all ..she seems to be that unusual thing on this sort of guilty secret TV , a woman with a brain ,one who doesn't dissolve into tears because of souffle issues and one who doesn't speak like an eight year old child . And also extremely sexy.

+1 I'd happily scoff anything she'd plate up.

Extremely sexy? Think you'd better go to specsavers. She isn't ugly in the samr vein, she isnt sexy.
She is definitely playing up to cameras.

Oh and I'm finding the contestants talking to each other almost, almost ruining the whole show. Its completely pointless.
