11minutes over, that is far tooooo long! Lets hope they take this into account when making decision! But the mess the previous person made maybe he got away with it!

Ok now they are tasting it a bit of a mess of design dish!

They've never taken it into account before, I doubt they'll start now.

Glad to see the critics back tonight - they seem positively sane in comparison to that supertaster crap.

Bit of a shocking night for them all. Not impressed.

All trying too hard to be fancy that they forgot you need a decent plate of food in the first place

There should be two very relieved cooks in the studio tonight.

Critics have lightened up a lot compared to a few years back. Seems quite good fun in there now. I was particularly amused by how angry William sitwell got over that weird salmon and egg dish smile and Charles campion liking cooked lettuce

I suspect he's been eating a lot of it lately, looks like he's lost of few stone.

This guy is a serious chef, his food looks amazing.

Early picks for winners? I reckon Simon or the black guy could do it. I'm not sure that woman or the kid with the slightly gormless look a really up to scratch for finals week.

The quail dish looks like a lot of work.

Narrator - ' Michael Caines is one of only a handful of chefs....blah blah blaH'

He's only got one bloody hand - maybe that could have been scripted better dear?

Seriously too hard to work out the names of the black guy, the woman or the gormless bloke?

It’s Tony (and I’ve warmed to him despite his moustache) or Simon for me but they’re all bloody good at this stage ...

I’m watching 12 minutes behind on iPlayer so may avoid this thread until the end smile

Number one lesson; you can't think things into fridges.

At least there won't be any confusion about who I'm referring to.

I didn't realise that Michael Caines only had one arm. Now I know, it's one of those things where you wonder how you didn't notice earlier.

It's a lot to ask of amateurs to do these dishes without practice and experience of dishes/proffessional kitchen!

It’s amazing isn’t it ... you just don’t notice until it’s obvious. First saw him on something a few years back and he’s way more dextrous than I could ever hope to be!

Caines is furious! This desert is a disaster, he couldn't have tasted any of that, and nothing is set, what a horror show!

One-handed quenelles, skill.

Probably was but didn't seem as technical as the other dishes either.
