My money would be on Simon, greg and John seem to favour him.

I'd go with Simon myself, think he has been slightly better over all.

I have to agree. They looked fantastic. I was panicking for Simon (my favourite), but now I've seen Simon's dishes, it could be either of them. There's something about Tony that irritates me, but he did well tonight. Every credit to him.

Simon done good!

Can't work out which will win! Think her main not looking 2 star look may mark her down!

Really pleased Simon won, but had it been Tony, on tonight's showing, I think he'd have been an equally worthy winner (I actually think his dishes looked better). I'm sure Emma's food tasted fantastic, but it didn't look as good as Simon's and Tony's.

And yes, great version of "Take on me"!

Yay!!!
Loved the look of Simon's food especially his main, right up my street. He's such a humble sort of guy too, best of luck to him in the future.

Correct result IMHO.

Could be life changing for him and his family. I got the impression he was a single father of 4, so I hope this is a real boost for them.

Right person won imo - felt all of John and greggs comments were rather positive in order to hype the quality of the cooks they put through and emphasise the quality of the final but saying that, it did all look pretty good and Tony and Emma should be happy with their efforts.

Do think Simons looked the best, but he also consistently delivered over the last few weeks including helping both the other contestants out in the penultimate challenge. Seems like a top guy, works hard and stays humble, and very happy for him.

I called Simon too. Good as the other two were - he was cooking like a pro round after round.

Great competition this one.
