Sous vide, what a useless trend. It's fking boil in the bag without the heat.

Was about to post the same thing. It's pointless.

I dont care what her mum told her to leave off the dish. Once you've told the judges, I don't need to see her whining to the other cooks about the same thing.

That doctor who has made the scallop dishes needs to sort her makeup out. Looks like she's been rubbing dirt onto her cheeks.

Was just thinking same thing.

Maybe the studio lights make it look worse than it did in the mirror that morning.

With regard to cooking, there's no real talent here tonight.

I'd wager most of us could do just as well if not better.

I must admit to not being a fan of Derek's presentation of carrots.

Well done mate, missed the birth of your child to go and lose on Masterchef. Well, I expect he had more fun than he would have done going to a hospital to get a first look at someone he'll be looking at for the rest of his life.

Bearing in mind his day job, the RAF guy should be able to deal with the pressure and his menu sounds good, so I reckon he will get through.

He's probably just another pencil pusher.

Think he said he was a squadron commander or flight commander, and he mentioned having been in Afghanistan.

Aye, must have seen plenty of action chasing his men out of bed in the morning and making sure they've brushed their teeth! hehe

Lamb looked nice but I want to see if she can cook anything other than a curry.

Ok, it didn't come off but I've seen much bigger fk ups than that.

Just last night the Glasgow girl served a plate of pea purée.

Disagree with that. Thought Dan had more potential to go further than Kathryn.
