My favourite was the reliant Robin space shuttle.

When they first started discussing it I thought they were talking about one 10ft tall, what they actually built was spectacular, I'd go so far as to say it's in my top 10 best things I've seen on TV ever.

Although it failed I'd like to think it gave a lot of children the idea that engineering is cool

Couldn't agree more - was brilliant - I was actually Whooping at the TV when it took off.

funniest was the top gear challenge against the Aussies when the bloke lost his artifical arm.
Seeing all those wonderful creations on Pall Mall was just awesome.
We have been lucky to witness a car programme that didnt put you to sleep.

If I'm thinking if the same artificial arm piece was it the one with the double decker cars? They roped in one of the crew to steer the top car with Jeremy on the accelerator in the car below. I thought it was against the Germans?

Anyway, if it's that sketch it was hilarious when the crew member couldn't keep up with the wheel movements. He had a claw attached to the wheel and it wrenched his false arm off with it attached to the wheel and it flying around. "Jeremy, my arms come off!" Hilarious

Anyway other than that superb tv, especially the specials. Vietnam, Bolivia, India, USA etc. Will be sadly missed as it won't be top gear without JC and his mates. It did get a bit samey lately but still one of the best shows on TV. Certainly the best car show by a mile.

Veyron vs fighter jet over a standing mile, to the end, turn round, back to the start. Only the jet had to do its mile vertically!

Also grannies doing donuts in a Honda S2000 biggrin

it was the double deckers cars and it was funny. I also like the USA specials with the cow on top of the Camero (?] and the old guy in the tyre shop dancing to the radio.
All great stuff.
