Yep, I saw it yesterday. It's typical MI stuff. Personally i think Bond is better but mrs bompey says they're all the same. If you want an action packed film, with a simple plot then this will do the job.

Sums up what I thought too, enjoyed nonetheless though.

I thought I had seen the female lead before, she was in 'The White Queen' last year, but blonde, was good in that too.

Saw it with the mrs on saturday, both enjoyed it, its what we were expecting and was a good laugh\entertaining.

Saw this over the weekend and enjoyed it. The bike chase was very good. Plus you do have to take your hat off to Tom Cruise as he does tend to do virtually all his own stunts which is pretty good for a 53 year old

Going to see this tomorrow, does it really matter that I haven't seen the last one, and I don't think I've seen any except the first 2 when they are on TV (helicopter in the tunnel and all that). Is there much of an arc from film to film that's going to go over my head, or can I happily watch it as a standalone film? I've checked and previous MI films aren't on Netflix or Amazon Instant, otherwise I would have watched some before this came around.
