Now in the program there were pics of the car used originally. And it appeared they had strapped a can/milk pail type thing to the front of the car. What do we think that was for? Substitute for a broken rad? Fuel tank?
tbh I always thought the Pan-American highway by road vehicle, in its entireity, including the ice road from Prudhoe Bay, crosing the Darien Gap, and of course that town in Argentina would have made a good multi episode Top Gear Special.
