Broken Lizard released a video appeal today, hoping to crowdfund at least $2million in order to film Super Troopers 2.

Hope they make it - the first movie was excellent

Loved the first film. So many excellent one liners, and the pull over games were brilliant.
"You wanna do repeat" laugh

They seem to be doing really well, around about $100000 an hour for the first 15 hours.
Will probably make the $2M within 24 hours.

I absolutely loved the first film. Shenanigans!

They are up to $1.5m which is very impressive.

Edit, I've actually gone for the $100 package.

I may have drunk a bottle of wine and half a bottle of Jegermesiter last night. I may have stuck the $75 package on my credit card. Perhaps this should be in the "frivolous purchases" thread...

What a great idea to fund a film. I've not seen the first one, but looking at the intro, it looks pretty funny.

When I watched Super Troopers years ago as a kid I had no idea that Brian Cox was such a coup of an actor to get on a film like this.

Made watching Manhunter for the first time a week or so ago that bit better I think.

Had me in bits. Actual bits.

To be honest I'm not that excited, comedy sequels have a pretty poor track record since it's hard to recreate the magic again.
