What do you think?

It might end up being a motoring programme again.

He'd be an idiot if he did. Why do something someone else has done to death?

Nope. He's a motoring journalist rather than a TV presenter.

And another no from me.

He is good at what he does, but not suitable for Top Gear or an equivalent replacement.

Top Gear is now dead. The BBC will just be making a bigger mistake recreating it with a different team.

Chris will do things that are car-centric.
TG is entertainment with cars and the beeb will try to re-create the chemistry with a new team & format.

He would be great. I think the show might have to go back towards motoring since the whole scripted banter entertainment show might not work without JC.

I prefer Chris' current format and i wish he would do more

It would be a waste to see him do stupid stuff on TG.

Why would he BBC or any other channel want a factual motoring programme? Having Chris Harris would be disastrous for both parties.

Why can't people envisage a car programme that isn't Top Gear?

It may be hard to believe but there are other engaging people in the world apart from those three.

I personally think Harris can't present to save his life, the way he comes across makes my teeth itch sometimes.

To be fair though I also thought Top Gear sucked balls too, good riddance to it and JC.

"The only creative rule myself and Neil have ever consistently adhered to is to never try and be TG. Never try to be too funny. Don’t go on adventures. Don’t do anything that could usher you into direct comparison with TG because you will automatically look st."

You need only look at Fifth Gear to see what happens if things are more factual. Now lost, somewhere, on the History channel.

Exactly. Fact is Top Gear is aimed at a worldwide market, not the relatively few viewers in the UK. And they will get what they want. Which is obviously 3 grown men dicking about.
