Great Canal Journeys

Was it just a bit of 'deja vu' or were there some clips from old canal journeys cut in?
I don't think there were any bits from previous episodes - it would be too obvious (clothes would be a good example). There has been a previous one with their family on board, so maybe that is what has triggered your deja vu ?Another great series from these two and a very pleasant watch it was. Tim does go on about Pru's condition with great regularity however and I think they are both getting ready for the curtain to come down. From the way they were both talking I get the impression that this may have been the last series they do.

You do get that impression, especially with the little piece they do at the start at their home.My sister works at the RSC and has met Pru a couple of times as well as seeing her wandering round the place when Tim or their son was there. Apparently she has always been mildly eccentric and always had a glass of wine in her hand
A new series starts this Sunday (8th of Nov), but with Shelia Hancock and Gyles Brandreth now on the boat:
