Totally failed to get their act together and collect any rainwater too!

Get some ponchos strung out or whatever!

Surely they have to eat the planted piggies by the end of the show don't they? Please?
Will they even manage to take the pigs to "home beach"?

Why they saved the fire over collecting rain water I have no idea. They only need the fire for ground water. But if they have rain water they don't need ground water, so no need for the fire...unless they are going to cook a pig which clearly isn't going to happen right away.

Piggies have followed them lol

How comes none of them try basic desalination via evaporation ad subsequent collection?

The channel 4 announcer spoilt it at the start by saying that tonight's show contained scenes of animal slaughter so yeah, I guess they do

Should they not be using a bit more speed and less pressure on that bow?

Anyone think the blokes one is getting really boring? It's exactly the same as last year. They capture a croc, kill it, moan about st, moan about taking a st, stuff themselves...blah blah blah.
Will it last another year? Mixed island maybe, otherwise it'll be even more fking tedious.

Does no one else find it odd that the woman have some cute little piggies to catch and eat and the men have a fking great crocodile?

Hasn't made them any less feckless though, even my wife agrees they're bloody useless!

Did they kill the pigs in the end? I turned over when it looked like they were going to bash ones head in.

Having bashed a few heads in like that in the past, I know it's not necessarily quick and easy so didn't want to watch it suffer.

Seemed pointless, what would they get, about a mouthful each? And well all know their views on meat not touching the sides.

Men's island; seems pretty well set up, they have the basics and people that can do. Odd personal conflicts to come.
Women's island; they haven't sorted water out, food they have issues catching and killing stuff never mind some of them eating it, at least they have decided on a place to stay, nice of the support team to drop them a new drill and bow to make fire.

I thought that was actually quite savvy from an entertainment point of view, if the support team hadn't done something the women would have had to have been casevaced but giving them clean water would have been a bit of a cop-out, happy medium in my eyes.

He's certainly confrontational, passive aggressive and has little people skills. But he is factually accurate on a number of things I think.

I think he was just wanting someone (or everyone) to thank/acknowledge him for what he does but he doesn't have the intellect to convey that without being passive aggressive and confrontational. He's a bit of a tool but his heart is in the right place imo.

He soon withered once someone stood up to him.
