I've just picked this up (late to the party, I know) and I binge watched 6 episodes last night - So far I'm pretty underwhelmed by it, I get that there's a lot of scene setting and the like, but having watched JJ, I'm finding Daredevil and bit "meh".

I'll persevere and then try the Flash after this too...
the Flash really is nothing like JJ or DD so don't be getting your expectations up

I've watched DD without thinking "it'll be like JJ", but it just seems a lot slower in getting going - The fight scenes are getting a bit same-y and repetitive.

I can see a lot of scene setting for Series 2 though.

I do like Fisk though.

Am I going to hell if I admit that I actually enjoyed Ben Affleck's DD?

If you find this a bit slow then The Flash could be more your cup of tea.

The Flash is an OK programme.
The US churns out many decent 20 ep series shows. I watch it over my laptop, it's fair enough, nowt special.

Finally getting round to this.

Just started the second episode and I'm loving it!

Great feel to it, the guy playing MM is perfect for me.

Hooked.

Is it even on DVD? If so definitley get it.

Up to episode 5 of series 2 now and I think it's as good if not better than the first.

Watched the first two of series 2 and from what I've seen they've really nailed it. Really enjoyable so far.

That doesn't chime with other reviews, what makes you say it?

I've done the first 2 over the weekend too. Great stuff. Can someone explain one thing though, it's bugging me.

When he was walking around the slaughterhouse with the people hung up with the carcasses, he walked into the room, around the tables and picked something up from the gun case.

He's blind. In a room he hasn't been in before. So how did he not walk into the tables, and how did he know precisely where the thing he picked up was, and that a gun case was on the table.

I'm still a big fan of the series, and the show usually does the short focus camera thing with him tilting his head when he hears something. None of that here, just walked around the room as if he could see, and it seemed odd that he could do what he did.

He is a superhero - he has extraordinary senses, e.g., touch, smell and hearing, and an impossibly extraordinary 6th sense. Don't question it too much - it's all fiction tongue out

He has some sort of echo location, which isn't fiction. Blind people can teach themselves this, like bats. Although they do it using their mouths.
In the comics, it sometimes shows how DD perceives the world.
