Yeah, that's be a fun fight. They're both boring fkers though, might need a third party to add repartee?

Iron-Man? 'Does mother know thou weareth her drapes.' had me in stitches.

Ive always found Superman to be one the least interesting super characters....and he is clearly the hardest to write for.....his theoretical powers mean, as Governator has said, they always have to create jeopardy for him...and its rarely very believable. He is just too powerful. Even if you add together a lot of the marvel universe you don't get the entire power set - not sure they even have an invulnerable do they? (hmm...Hulk I guess but its hardly the same)

Its always felt to me that DC characters are like a poorly thought-out version of Marvel (I know timing wise that isn't the case). Stan Lees real genius (for me) was creating so many super people but with flaws that made them interesting and you could do something with alongside the cool abilities. DC went either ultra power or 'frankly a bit st' powers

Depends. I think Superman is a very boring character as he's too vanilla.

So this is only 10 days a way. Whose managed to get tickets? A mate managed to get online when they were released a few weeks ago and bagged us seats for opening night at the BFI Imax, smack bang in the middle. Starting to get excited by it despite having some reservations. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

There is a bat in the sun video on youtube where they do this

You'll have to search it because I can't get on youtube right now, but its there and pretty much decided by votes of people on youtube.

Whilst I'm really up for this and can't wait to see it, I have a nagging feeling that it is going to be a major disappointment; hope I'm wrong.

For some reason so do I. Still if I go in with this expectation and it's halfway decent, I can only be pleasantly surprised.

Agree with most of that, but as for that last sentence, don't underestimate the Marvel universe. I can name about a dozen characters that would make mincemeat of Superman, and there's probably a dozen more.

Zack Snyder is enough reason to be concerned. He's a very hit and miss director. With Michael Bay you know what you're getting, whether you like it or not. The same for Scorcese and a number of other directors.

Snyder has the potential to turn up something amazing, whether it's amazingly good or amazingly bad remains to be seen

First reactions from the premiers in New York and Mexico City seem overwhelmingly positive. There is still a press embargo till tomorrow but Twitter has gone manic with positive praise. Only 3 days to go now, getting excited for this now!

Not great so far TBH, not that it will stop me going at the weekend with the boy.

No spoilers, all I'll say is it's exactly as you would expect a Bats v Supes film to be.

The critics reviews certainly seem to be more of a mixed bag...
