To be clear; I like action movies and that had a heap of action.
Gal Gadot is also an extremely attractive young lady.
This film wasn't a patch on the Nolan trilogy, for me. I also didn't like Batfleck. That's not to say he did a bad job but he just wasn't what I wanted/ expected.
However, I do understand that the Batman of the Dark Knight Returns comic is very 'different' to the Bale portrayal. I just didn't 'feel it'.
There were, however, a number of things that I really, really disliked...
1 - The music changing to a sort of campy 'tribal' music when Wonder Woman turned up - silly.
2 - The fight ending because of their Mums and the title protagonists then being best mates - No progression etc.
3 - Lex Luthor has all this information on Metahumas, Superman's Mum etc How? Why hadn't he used it before etc?
4 - The armoured suit when it was damaged during the fight. Looked like damaged Robocop. But Batman's face was fine - weak.
5 - Everyone is talking about the brutality of Afleck's fighting. I thought it was 'slower' and not as well choreographed as the Nolan films.
6 - Lex seemed to turn Superman against Batman very easily. We all like our Mums but I'm sure he could have put some effort into finding her!?
All in all though, I'll watch it again, at home, on the sofa...

Well after a bit of a slow and confused start, I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
I'm still not sure what was going on in parts of the film as it flitted about a bit too much and the dream sequences where annoying so it all got a bit confusing in places.
Jessie Eisenburg's casting as Lex Luthor was atrocious, he was terrible as was his portrayal as Luthor, I just found him annoying and his whole character was too trendy, a bit like you would imagine a Google executive to be, I didn't find him particularly menacing or scary, just bloody annoying.
Affleck was great as Batman; very well cast.
Wonder Woman, my god she was sexy and she can kick ass, the final fight was fantastic.
a Solid 7/10 for me.

Worse film in a long time for me. Took my two boys (11 & 6 yo's) to it last night. I was fed up an hour into it, totally lost by any plot that was hiding within it and fumed at paying £26 for the (dis)pleasure.
It's the only film ever I could have walked out on, and I've sat throught some crapiness.

So if you couldn't find a plot to enjoy, I imagine your two boys were bored to tears, or did they just lap up the fantasy violence? It's the only film ever I could have walked out on, and I've sat throught some crapiness.
6....?....just me?.... seems a smidge young but that's your look out I guess...just saying...
I seem to be in the minority of absolutely loving MoS and BvS.
Neither were as 'fantastic', glossy, bright, colourful or glib as Marvel's stuff, but I quite like the dark, sinister, serious tone that DC are taking.
Yes they crow-bar'd a shed load into this, didn't stop me enjoying it and leaves me wanting more.
I'd argue these are much more 'adult' than the Marvel films too...IMO anyway
Went to see this on Saturday on my own (she has had enough of supers) ....disjointed, muddled and vacuous ....I'm not a comic book aficionado by any means, but have a rough grasp of the various 'universes' ....and this just seemed to be thrown together ....and the weaving ( I say weaving, more like vomiting) in of other supers really irked me .....
I left after about an hour and a 15.....

Wow finding the vitriol aimed against this quite surprising. OK it has some issues but it's above average for me, certainly not bad enough to walk out on. Ok it's not up their with Marvels top tier films like Guardians or the First Avengers movie but certainly better than a lot of their average output like Thor etc.
People also complaining that it's too serious. This is about an orphaned alien coming to terms with being a god symnbol and literally having the weight of the world on his shoulders, another orphan who is on a psychotic rampage to right the wrong done to his parents as a child. A villain who has suffered child abuse, it even has a scene with a suicide bomber. Light-hearted it ain't but it works for me as it's very different to the MCU which makes a nice change to all the bright colours and quips. I dare to say it but it's a more adult movie in line with some of the more serious work done in the comics.
I love what Marvel have done with the MCU but I'm also enjoying the direction DC are taking with this. MoS was OK with but this is better still all IMO of course.

Afleck was brilliant as Batman. Very menacing and nasty. And he's willing to (and does) kill. Can't wait to see him in a stand alone Batman film.
I suspect it's MCU fans who are mainly complaining.
Anyway, it's drawing record crowds/income http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35909299

But they both enjoyed it, lapped up the fantastical stuff as you say. And I'd lose parenting points if I took one without the other without a really good reason (I won't consider taking him to 15 guidance BTW).
The 6yo definitely didnt 'get' any plot and TBH I think the 11yo would struggle to relay it to me if I asked him!
Took my lad (12) to see it yesterday. I think he understood more what was going on than I did, especially all the other characters shoe-horned in.
Anyway, some goon sat next to me had brought his son who couldn't have been any older than 4. I had to spend the whole 2.5 hours listening to the goon explain in a whisper what was going on and why in virtually every scene. I was hoping the kid would become bored or scared and want to leave, but they stuck it out for the whole lot. Bloody cinemas, and that was over £20 for the two of us as well.

I think that's what they were going for, making him more of a 'dot com billionaire' rather than a traditionally ruthless businessman.
Plus the fact he is Lex Jnr in the film, so played the entitled rich kid quite well i thought.Agree Affleck was a good Batman, and his portrayal of Wayne was (i think) less borish than Bale's
