Half the Internet is moaning it's all a bit too convinent that Batman was there all along and the other half is complaining it all looks a little too like 9/11

This bit (& the other bits with a similar Batman from the original trailer) remind me of Red Son. Batman hasn't got the hat/mask but the costume & the rest of the setup seems very similar. Be interesting to see how they fit it in.

It basically reasons that Affleck plays Deathstroke, not Bruce Wayne / Batman. Personally, I think it's a cracking idea. But I'm not much of a comic fan (although I probably should be, if I gave them a chance)

In the comics, doesn't Lex create a clone and he has an army of 'red capes'? Could be that storyline. ie there are 2x Superman and they're actually fighting the bad one.dom9 said:

From a briefly remembered interview with the guy who played Zod in the last one, he talked about having an unusual role in tis, not so much physical, think more Russel crow computer program.
I wonder if Zod will talk to superman in this sort of memory form, as Supes obviously wants to talk to anything he can from Krypton, and is guilty for killing Zod, and Zod has slowly poisoned his mind a bit in the intervening 15 years so superman is now a bit of a dick\god complex??
That way you could have him as big bad AND redemption story??
