Can anyone recommend a decent alternative to Sky as so far the customer service from them has been shocking!

They are mercenary.

You need to be the same to get anything. If you pay them good money and been loyal to them, they'll want to keep you.

Had two boxes for more than ten years, been through about 7 boxes. Never paid for a call out to repair them or paid for a new box, apart from last year when I paid about £40 for the new 2TB box.

If you say you want to leave you go to the retention department who basically sort your problem.

I just had a new box and it cost me £30. No complaints apart from the spiralling cost due to their funding of football.

Wow. I would say that Sky have consistently provided me with brilliant customer service.
