Would be good if they went back and remade the first episodes 1,2 and 3.
Indeed. So Vader might be in it?...
I am not keen on the idea of making films outside the main story...considering the haphazard mess that is the official history of the universe. The original three films were benchmarks (ignoring Xmas special ), and then stuff gets added...maybe the stuff getting added now will swing the balance back...but I feel that sometimes less is more and the enigmatic quality of a lot of Star Wars might be lost in al the extra stuff.
I really, really want to like that, but it completely passes me by. She looks like a lightweight version of Katniss Everdeen, a trope that is becoming as hackneyed as 'there's only one cop bad enough...'. No probs with a female lead, but the same lead in every story in every Hollywood film?
Great music and sfx as to be expected, but it just seemed a bit meh, a bit superficial. And that's even with the imperial alarm which is second only to a tie fighter in the make Ben's knees go wobbly sound effect stakes.

Another spunky female protagonist?
Thats my only down point. We have the plucky untrained young lady lead in TFA do we really need another in this?
Why not a gritty old group of hard knocks doing the tough work or something equally different.
Then I realised the target market are mid-forties geeky blokes who'll want to take their kids along to see it: so it makes perfect sense really
