There's a great yt video on how Star Wars was saved in the edit. Gary Kurtz is a name that isn't really mentioned by fans post 90s. I think he was the guy that was able to tie Crazy George's ideas together. Kurtz was instrumental in the first two films, and he left mid the third one, when he felt LUcas was turning the endeavour into a thing to sell toys to kids. I think it's why the third one isn't quite on the standard of the first two. Though I still think the dénouement between Luke, Vader and the Emperor is perfect, or near as.

For the Boba Fett head turn above, reading it back it sounds like nothing or obvious. But it's less than a second and he's in the background as Luke is in the foreground, he's walking ahead of some blert pushing the frozen Solo.

I've seen footage pre the re-edit and it looked terrible.

Can't remember the name of the editor, he may have been Chinese, or had an oriental name, but he saved the film.

No idea why I thought he was Chinese.

This explains.
