He said the radio was scripted and they were improvising from it.

That's why there was more radio in this episode than others.
Thanks.

Did you see what Kay said to introduce the episode?
What did he say I missed it?

Assuming that Kay/Gibson wrote the radio bits, it's a bit of a far stretch for him to then claim he improvised the bits around it. The only way he could claim it was improvised is if someone else wrote those bits and neither of them had heard it before.

They didn't say it was improvised - they said it was unscripted.

A loose idea of where it starts to where it ends and what might happen in the middle, but without any lines for them to have learned just the idea to stay in character.

Granted, it wasn't as brilliant as the past. Will see what happens in that one last episode in 3 weeks time I guess!

I can't see a difference between those type things. Surely they mean the same thing ?

Improvised is making up the story as they go along, unscripted is they know the story and what's happening but make up the words to fit.

It looked superimposed too - I have seen far funnier things.

Halaldi made me chuckle but the rest seemed a bit lackluster coming off such a good series.

I didn't find that bit funny. What's funny about a dog having a crap.

She did have a point about CLUB sandwiches though.

You ever seen it in any other show?

I laughed because it is something you might see if you're driving along but no-one else has dared/thought to put it in a TV show.

And that's the whole point of it. Down to earth everyday observational comedy.

It just shows the danger of using "12:00pm". What does it mean ? 12 noon? Or 12 midnight?

Things like that could confuse a stupid person.

Someone also said that it’s the way the dog looks almost guilty - as they do.

Thanks - I get it now.

NOPE!

12:00pm is noon, since as soon as noon is reached it's PM
12:00am is midnight, since as soon as noon is reached it's AM

soapbox

So, anyone else notice funny things in the background
(Yes, I noticed the VENGABUS too smile )
