Very enjoyable. Not too syrupy and still in character.

Lost Boys.
What was this reference for?

I saw the poster etc, remember it as a Keifer Sutherland film (with one excellent soundtrack single featuring INXS and Jimmy Barnes?) but cannot get the link...sorry to be dumb.
Was just a piss take of lost cat or dog flyers you see posted on lamposts etc.

LOST BOYS headline at the top, then a picture of the film flyer in the middle and then, if you've seen them please call this number, at the bottom.
and "REWARD" across the bottom, too.

A nice way to end the show. I think I would have found it funnier if it was shown straight after the last one of series 2, as I prefer watching sets back to back rather than having to wait, and I would have still been thinking about the previous episode. Spotted most of the detail above, aside from the Now 48 album.

Did anyone catch the guy at the bus stop vaping until his head disappeared? laugh

Agree with this 100%. I'm not sure the unscripted one achieved anything other than a cursory lesson that it shouldn't be done again.

The hedgehog scene made me laugh, will watch again soon to catch the other stuff too. Have really enjoyed this show.

Love how there was a "c" in among the line of "x"s on the text. Details!
I liked how he signed his name on the post-it with the Walkman:

John (Redmond)

Like there may be other Johns sending her notes.

It was the ending I think we all expected it would be, of sorts. I like how it was set the day after the last episode

The hedgehog/door scene was brilliant.

Already mentioned, but Pussy Liquors on the side of the bus was our highlight. Watching my wife slowly say it out loud, with a quizzical tone in her voice, until she hit the penultimate syllable and then crease up was just brilliant.

Wasn't it Beaver Liquors? Good episode, as much for the visual gags as anything else. I actually found watching quite tense, as there was a break in the dialogue and it moved to an outside shot of a street my eyes would start darting all over the place looking for the visual comedy.

Christmas special for the wedding they are going to on the 28th December? Personally I doubt it as I think it has reached a natural conclusion but who knows.

great series nicely wrapped up.

Maybe now he'll get on with the 3rd series of Pheonix Nights...

Its been a long enough wait I think, with enough water under the bridge after Max & Paddy.

Apparently its written and he wants to get it filmed.

The background signs and scenes are brilliant.

I particularly like the billboard which had "Don't drive like a" then a picture of a (feathered) cock.

Jean-Claude Van Man was also laugh out loud funny

I heard him say he was given the go-ahead a while ago but he was just too busy.

Now NME have reported it's written:

Sorry for the minor thread derailment... but since Phoenix Nights, I have noticed EVERY fun fair P.A system sounds like Ray-Von at the helm hehe

Indeed yes, it elicited the standard comment when we see someone striding along issuing more steam than 22290 Big Bertha at full steam up the Lickey Incline*, i.e. gaping tw*t.

It was always going to be an emotional episode, sort of wrapping things up in a certain direction.

Must admit guffawed at the driver's door cartwheeling down the road. Slightly disappointed that when Kay was grovelling under the car for the lost 2p at the drive through, it should have been raining, you know, that fine rain that wets you through. hehe
