It's slowing down, but still holding my interest. I still believe the Dr, but that agent claimed she spoke to someone at the agency when she first got there. Is she lying, did she speak to one of the WP controllers or is it really a Gov't experiment?.

I think she is saying whatever she thinks will get the Sheriff back on side.

I am not sure why they need a movie set town to perpetuate the species. Surely there are enough randy staff in the centre willing to do the deed for the good of mankind.

Just watched ep7. Definitely holding my attention.

I haven't read the books but clearly there's an end to those, so is there only going to be a single series or are the producers going to make their own story up for a series 2?

This past episode was better than the previous one, but not really sure what (if any) direction the story can take to save it. Now that everyone knows there is nothing to escape to, accepting their fate and getting on with life isn't sounding very interesting.

I strongly suspect it won't take an action path with regular battles with the Gollums despite how the episode ended.

Still enjoying it, I watched ep9 last night and thought it was pretty good.

For the ones who've read the books, how far along is this compared to the books?

I suppose there's still scope for it all to be a conspiracy and not really what we're currently being told biggrin

I have to say I really have enjoyed it. Makes a change to the long-winded shows that only reveal the truth after 728357329 seasons.

Hmmm, there are loads of tapes of ruined cities though.

Once the MacGuffin of the scenario is out...what is there? Some programmes do go on too far, but tension of giving mystery at the core can be pretty cool. Has this show shot it's bolt too quickly?

I never finished watching series 1 as I didn't want to spoil the books.

Anyone know if it's on any of the streaming services or Sky box sets?

The books are all quite different from each other with the first being all about mystery and suspense, the second more about control and power struggles and the third much quicker paced and all action.

S1 is on Now TV, so also on Sky Box Sets?

Also on Virgin On Demand.

I'll still watch this, but I hope it maintains what intrigued me in the first place.

Anyone new to this I think you can watch EP1 then go to EP5 with the only real question to answer is the sheriff.
It's quite addictive but once you know a bit it's totally ludicrous.
how did the cars last 2000 years and the petrol plus a hundred more age related queries

The motivation of the abbies. Not sure I'm understanding it. I don't see how they are meant to act like the way they do, if it's meant to be evolution.

I'm surprised at that, but it's certainly gotten interesting in the last few eps, when I thought it was dead in the water.
