Was a bit lost with the jogger shooting part of the story last night though!
A crime of the week story to hang the main plot of off for want of a better description. Shooting keeps most of the characters busy while two characters move the main plot forwards.
Or just the conclusion of that story? Think they were aiming to pin it on the teacher and try to somewhat protect the mouthy teenager?

is it just me that can't understand or quite catch a lot of the dialogue? And they keep having the most amazing leaps of intuition.

Same here, wife and I have to keep rewinding and watching certain lines a few times to work out what they're saying... even reverted to the subtitles at one point last week! And the incomprehensible lines are usually where the case makes a massive leap forward.

Good news smile I just hope tonight's episode finishes with a suitable conclusion and doesn't leave us hanging on for the next series.

Gone from reasonably plausible fiction to completely daft in one final episode. Still, at least we get to see how they write their way around that in second series.

Yes, I agree with that. I did enjoy the other seven episodes though.

Yup. That ending was disappointing to say the least. A bit of a cop-out, if you'll excuse the pun.

That forensics guy was portrayed throughout the series as a bit of a genius, so there's no doubt he would have come up with something to incriminate them.

Lazy writing, but at least it sets things up for the next series.

Agreed. Good twist at the start - can't say I've ever seen that one before.

Just watched on +1. Good start to it smile . I did watch the last episode of the last series before it, just to refresh myself on all the bits going on (and yes it's still a hell of a way to go hehe )
