local cinema isn't offering a 2d option for this,

not a fan of 3d, is ths 3d only?
I'm no fan of 3d but I kept seeing the hype about imax so tried it with the new Starwars film. It really is next level. Completely converted. Civil war booked Imax 3d.

Marc Benardin is usually a straight shooter on the Fatman on Batman Podcast...he put this at the top of the MCU pile and gave a great spoiler free review.

Best Marvel film yet, absolutely fantastic. Perfect mix of action, character development, comedy and storyline.

9/10, not quite a 10/10 because Scarlett Johansen doesn't get nekkid biggrin

On reflection this morning it just gets better and better, remembering more bits. Nothing spoilery really, but will Spoiler it just in case:

Spiderman is one of the standout parts for me. Big section with him in it, really a great intro to the new Spidey.

Ant-Man bring lots of humour to the party.

Vision in a sweater is fking hilarious.

There is a mid-credits scene, after the shiny namechecks but before the scrolling black text. I believe there is another at the end of the black credits, but it wasn't shown last night. Will just have to watch it again biggrin

I fking hate end of credits stuff! Mid credits after the jazz title and before the black text is fine.

Just got back, very good. for me its slightly above Winter Soldier but just below Avengers. Even though its the darker side of the Marvel Universe there is still the light touches and humour you would expect in some places.

There are both mid credit and end credit stings.

Very entertaining, but I think I preferred the Winter Soldier. Better than Age of Ultron by a mile.

Thought it was brilliant. Won't post much now so as not to ruin it for others. I'd rank it as best marvel film yet though.

Dc must be holding their heads in their hands after seeing their mash up.

I keep seeing this.

Considering how much I loved Winter Soldier, this bodes well!!
