There are a few rumours that Thor: Ragnarok may well be a Planet Hulk movie under the Thor banner.
I hope that's a pile of horsest.

Talk that, in the films, Spidey's suit will be made by Tony Stark; hence the slightly 'mechanical' aspect to the eyes.
Yeah, also heard there will be 2 spidey suits, that one being the second designed by stark the first will be more like this.

That was a Scarlet Witch affected Hulk? Trying to stop himself, I can't remember how that fight ends, I recall it was brilliant. I reckon a Hulk all in one mind would ultimately moider Stark in any suit.
From what I recall of the HulkvThor thing, Hulk was just smacking Thor around. I get the impression that'd it'd be good, but Hulk would also batter Thor one on one.

I think Iron-Man would be a tad too powerful, but looking at Cap, he looks utterly fked, so I reckon that fight should be realistic.
The fight Hulk vs Hulkbuster ends a bit suddenly tbh with IM managing to subdue the hulk by knocking him out by dropping a skyscrapper on him. This wouldn't really happen though and in the comics the Hulkbuster never beats the Hulk, Hulk usually just comes to his senses and jumps off or looses interest so the ending to that fight in the movie was a bit weak as it de-powers Hulk.

I thought Thor gave as good as he got in their match-up although his hammer did help. He basically arm wrestles Hulk to a stalemate at the beginning and gives him a few good wallops plus we get the great fan moment where Hulk attempts to pick up the hammer. In the comics Thor has actually beaten Hulk a couple of times but so has Hulk so it's not really a foregone conclusion, Thor is actually a lot more potent that he looks.

As for IM vs CA I envisage a lot of it will be CA barely holding his own and just using his reflexes and smarts to stay one-step ahead of getting pummelled by IM but I don't think we'll see him actually beat IM unless they put a plot device in which somehow does something to his suit.

Wow. It's like they have actually put thought into it!
That aspect in the films always bugged me. He's a kid who goes from a ropey stty jumper leggings combo to some super stretchy seamless suit, especially in the reboot series.

Agreed, it makes A LOT more sense that someone with the smarts and resources of Stark helps Spidey build his proper suit. Lets face it, if the average bloke tried to make their own suit, it would look like this!

For the IM v Cap fights, in the trailer the fights where he appears to be winning, he's not on his own, he has Bucky there as well. So maybe 2 on 1 he would lose but not 1 on 1

True.

The fights.
I'll have to watch Avengers 2 again. biggrin
The hammr evens things up for Thor. I used to have a comic where Thor wanted a scrap, but Hulk wouldn't fight him so long as he had the hammer. Thor threw it away as hard as he could (knowing it'd return in a few minutes). It was a goos scrap but was only gonna go one way, the comic showing how batter THor became, a rare event. I think it'd be the same in the film, it'd last, I know he's potent, one of the ones who is most so, but it'd only ever go one way, Hulk is Hulk. Thor and Hulk were both my fave characters back in the day. I collected both their series, oh and Silver Surfer.

Both CA and WS are super-soldiers, plus they are war vets, so I can see the pair of them working in tandem beating IM.

I'm very excited about seeing this, and I don't usually get excited about seeing films.

Jeez, I thought they were doing well by thinking about the suit.

But as this pick-apart vid shows, they really...really put a lot of thought into these films.

I still think Thor would win just by the fact he's a God, Hulk isn't.

Thor (like everyone else) is strongest at the start of a fight as he goes on he gets weaker and tires, as is normal. Hulk at bse level is already stronger and then just gets stronger as he fights on. I don't see how it's feasible, HUlk could lose in the rules we have. Tony Stark doesn't say, 'we have a THor.' biggrin

I don't think Hulk would last, he would die eventually or wear down. Thor is immortal. He cannot die, by that fact alone he would wear Hulk down eventually

Nerdfight. biggrin

Hulk gets stronger as he fights though, and starts at least as strong or stronger. Hulk would have to get bored or distracted. Thor is immortal from eating golden apples, make sure he doesn't break for lunch. biggrin
Gods can be killed, Balder was killed by mistletoe, they just don't expire from old age.

edit.
I really hope Ragnarok doesn't just lift the World War Hulk storyline.

Nice gif spin on Hulk punching Thor as well.

another edit!
Links in my youtube now, cas I've been geeking out over the past day.
8 Sorts who have beaten Hulk!
I had a few of those issues! I loved it when Hulk was the smaller Grey version...though the guy is wrong about the Thing fight, Hulk actually does beat Thing by outsmarting him there, cas he is weaker in Grey form...ahh my geek knowledge. biggrin

From the trailers I can't see how this film is going to be anything less than brilliant, I can't wait to see it.

I think the biggest risk is that everyone in the world unanimously decides to ban superhero films after Batman vs Superman.

At least wait until InfinityWar 2 has finished!
I hope the bottom doesn't drop out till then.

I don't mind if they keep making CBH films for decades...so long as they are good, the trouble is, because the good ones make cash, everybody wants to make one, so we get a tonne of st, which dilutes the marketplace and ultimately will switch people off. Look at the Western.
The good ones, are genuinely good films regardless of genre. Sony/Fox are gonna throw any old st at the wall and hope it sticks simply in and effort to retain rights to franchises.

Well that's already failed for Sony, at least they were smart enough to get back into bed with Marvel. Fox were heading the same way until they scored a lucky left field hit with Deadpool, a film they hated and surprise surprise made by actual comic book fans.

Marvels great trick so far has been to, where possible, not make "superhero" films, they've made action films , scifi films, political thrillers and comedies that happen to feature heroes. They're hoping to play the same trick with Dr Strange this year and tap into a bit of a mystical/magic/fantasy vibe by the sounds of it.

well I have to be honest if it's as turgid as the last Superman pic then it could adversely affect people's perceptions. Let's be honest 'big blue' is (historically) the CBH bar none and seeing another mis-fire wouldn't be great

The trouble is IM3 looked like an awesome trailer, but turned into the biggest steaming pile of cow poo ever put to screen, I'd rather only be allowed to watch Adam Sandler films for the rest of my life than watch that again.
Avengers 2 wasn't much better!
